Five from School of Education recognized as Honored Instructors by University Housing

December 13, 2017

University Housing earlier this month put the spotlight on classroom instructors from across the UW-Madison for outstanding work during the Fall 2017 semester.

And among the many talented faculty and staff being recognized as an Honored Instructor are five people from the School of Education.

Those from the School of Education being honored during a celebration Dec. 1 at Rheta’s Dining Hall were:

Nancy Kendall, a professor with the Department of Educational Policy Studies and the School’s Special Assistant for Global Education.

Fred Stonehouse, an professor of painting and drawing with the School of Education’s Art Department.

Ann Fillback Watt, the associate director of Career Information Systems with the Center on Education and Work.  Watt was teaching the Wisconsin Experience Seminar for freshmen and transfer students.

Shad Willingham, a visiting assistant professor with the Department of Theatre and Drama.

Andrew Winterstein, a distinguished clinical professor with the Department of Kinesiology and the director of the Athletic Training Program.

Each semester, University Housing residents have an opportunity to honor instructors that have impacted them positively -- instructors that have challenged them, helped them learn or inspired them. To learn more about all of this semester’s winners, visit this web page.
