A Discussion on Youth Engaged Program Evaluation

Join WEC and the Lead Center for a Brown Bag presentation featuring Annalee Good and Kate McCleary.
Tuesday, March 06, 2018
12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
253 Educational Sciences

From health to education to the environment, youth are often central stakeholders in evaluations carried out in schools, civic organizations and communities. And yet, youth are not often at the table when evaluations are designed, carried out and analyzed. Join Annalee Good and Kate McCleary as they discuss:

• What are the roles youth can play in evaluating the very programs designed to serve them?

• What is the connection between youth voice and agency and Culturally Responsive Evaluation?

• What are specific strategies for engaging youth in program evaluation?

• What are examples of evaluations and evaluation team that authentically engage youth?

Local youth evaluators' voices will be shared as well via video.
