Description

The School of Education and the Department of Educational Policy Studies are hosting a 90-minute workshop with Angela Rose Black on how to use mindfulness and compassion to support collective wellbeing across campus.

This event is for faculty, staff and students from across the School of Education.

Black will highlight the critical intersection between racial justice, emotional reparations, and the utility of mindfulness and compassion in supporting both among faculty, staff, and students.

Black is the founder and CEO of Mindfulness for the People, a social change agency that offers culturally responsive mindfulness training.
