What does it take to be a good instructor? How do faculty learn to teach well? If you are a graduate student, post-doc, or faculty/instructor wondering how you can improve your effectiveness as a teacher, you are not alone!

Join the Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education (WISCAPE) and the Delta Program for a panel discussion where faculty across disciplines talk about how they have worked to build their teaching skills. The panelists will also share recommendations on strategies that both current and future faculty can use to continuously improve their teaching and help undergraduate students to understand complex concepts, engage in class discussions, and more.

The panel discussion will be followed by small-group conversations and time for Q&A. Light refreshments will be served.
