Position title: Educational Policy Studies & Psychology Dual Major
Address:
Beijing, China
I am a graduating EPS and psychology major from UW-Madison, where I focused on understanding how children learn and how education can be used to advance equity. I chose this major because I have always enjoyed working with children, and my experience teaching elementary school students in rural communities deeply shaped my belief in the transformative power of education.
During my time at UW-Madison, some of my proudest achievements include serving as a research assistant in the Social Kids Lab and attending different club activities. Through these experiences, I have been able to contribute to research on children’s social development and identity, and I hope to continue exploring how early environments shape young learners. I am also actively involved in several student organizations, including the Anatomy Club, Aspiring Educators, Wisconsin Admission Volunteers, and the Music Wellness Association.
Outside of the classroom, I am passionate about music and adventure. I played keyboard in a student band on campus. When I’m not performing, I enjoyed skydiving as a licensed skydiver with the United States Parachute Association (USPA). Through I was able to connect with nature and experience life from a new perspective.
I plan to continue my academic journey and pursue graduate study, with the long-term goal of becoming a professor or psychiatrist. I hope to combine research, teaching, and community engagement to help create learning environments where all students feel valued, supported, and capable.
