Sheryl Hayes Hursh is a member of the teaching faculty in the Educational Policy Studies Department at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Sheryl is interested in the convergence of sustainability, human-nature connection, and biodiversity conservation. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching sustainability is witnessing students develop an enhanced appreciation for the complexity of environmental systems and the connectivity that these systems have to their own lives.
